Lockwood is a family business. Jacob and Ruth started it, still run it, and still answer for every garment with their name on it. Behind them is a small team and a handful of British factories who take the work as seriously as they do.
Founder
Jacob served in the British Army before walking away from a secure career and pension to start Lockwood in 2024. He’s behind the range and the stories that come with it, and he’s usually the one you’ll meet at the shows. Ask him about the names.
Co-founder
Ruth is co-owner and Head of Service. She’s been part of Lockwood from day one, working on it alongside her own job, and joined full time in 2026. Today she runs the day to day, looks after customers and makes sure every order goes out right.
