Coming out of the forces I couldn’t justify the Brecon smock, but treated myself to the Arthur instead. It is genuinely the best built / best quality piece of clothing I’ve ever owned. You can see the quality in every aspect, right down to the smallest detail. If I had to pick one (very very tiny) issue, it would be the length. I’m 6’3” and wear a 2XL, and it could be ever so slightly longer in the sleeves / length, but it’s a very minor issue for such a good bit of kit. I’ve worn it as both a smart option over my work clothes, and in to the Fells on shoots, and it’s held up to both without fault. The customer service is also without fault, this is a brilliant company; I’ll be buying from Lockwood again, worth every penny.

Being quite petite I was a bit concerned it might be too big,but it’s perfect.
A solid staple piece in my wardrobe.
Bonus that it’s unisex as now my fiancé wants one!

The most incredible gilet I have ever owned, the quality is exquisite and it is unbelievably warm and cosy, as well as looking very chic. I wore it to the British GT Championship last weekend in challenging weather and remained toasty. Thank you Lockwood!

Amazing quality and beautiful looking product!!

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, so good in fact that i bought 2!
I spend a lot of time outside standing around in all weather and as most people know,once youre wet you then get cold and morale hits the deck as well as running the chance of getting ill. These smocks eliminate this by keeping you fully dry underneath and also reducing exposure to the wind.
Highly practical with plenty of pocket space, comfortable and dry. On top of all this they are stylish and you can feel the quality so you know its built to last.
Honestly cannot recommend this brand enough.

Incredibly warm and well made gillet.

So lovely I bought it twice. One suggestion as we made at Blenheim perhaps look at the sizing!

I purchased the brilliant sherpa gilet yesterday at a show only to discover when I got home that I had been somewhat optimistic in my sizing. On contacting the owner, he has offered to send me out a larger size at no extra cost. I just love the fact that the quality and manufacture of all the products plus the service from this company are all traditionally British. By that I mean, striving for excellence and going the extra mile. Thank you Lockwood for being a shining example of what British company can do when you set your mind to it.

Fantastic quality and great to be backing British

Great jacket. Really well made and you can feel the quality as soon as you open the box. Kept me warm and dry in the recent storms and feels absolutely bomb proof. Only down side is for the Lockwood team and that is I won't be needing to buy another any time soon.
