    The Arnhem Smock by JL-EQ honours the legacy of the Parachute Regiment, blending military heritage with equestrian and country life. The iconic maroon colour, chosen by General Boy Browning’s wife, the novelist Daphne DuMaurier, pays homage to the claret and Cambridge blue of his racing silks, drawing a powerful link between airborne forces and equestrian tradition.

     

    Inspired by the heroic Battle of Arnhem, this smock represents strength, resilience, and a deep respect for the history of those who served. Handcrafted in Barnstable using 100% British materials, the Arnhem Smock continues the proud tradition of British craftsmanship, standing ready to perform in the toughest conditions, whether in the field, country pursuits, or the equestrian world.

    Just wanted to drop a quick reply now I’ve been able to collect my smock.

    Just wow, super happy with it! The sizing is actually perfect for me in pretty much every way, even the arms fit well instead of dangling off my wrists like usual.

    You’ve done an outstanding job! Look forward to seeing your future and where this goes, can’t wait for the Suffolk Wool Gilets!

    Hopefully it’s pissing down at Badminton and can get it deployed for a proper outing!

    After purchasing multiple failed coats from big brand shops i decided after following Lockwood smocks to go for it. Being super outdoors as a dog walker and equine groom I battle our ever changing weather daily! The minute I felt the Arnham smock I knew this coat would last me for a very long. The detail is just amazing! The extra large hood is a game changer for me with wearing glasses (I can see where I am going). Completely wind proof keeping me super warm in the highest coldest wind and rain just rolls off! Super chuffed thanks again. Abbi

    This Arnhem is for my wife. She was over the moon with the quality of the smock and how robust it felt. Putting it on sizing couldn't have been more perfect with the size small fit. It felt comfortable, and she particularly liked the oversized wire hood. She's looking very much forward to remaining dry in the wet north west for a change.
