This isn’t just a polo shirt. It’s a moment in the Lockwood journey.
These polos were originally promised as East London–made. They were instead produced in Bradford, and they don’t meet the usual Lockwood standard. The stitching lacks the precision I expect, the fit is slightly off, and the grading between Small, Medium, and Large is minimal.
The fabric weight is also lighter than intended. These are 280 GSM, not the 340 GSM fabric I originally sampled.
I could have rejected the entire run and gone down the fast-fashion route. Instead, I took a partial refund from the supplier and passed that saving directly on to you. I won’t contribute to landfill waste.
These polos are wearable, comfortable, and still carry the spirit of a British-made garment, even if they aren’t Lockwood’s best work.
For reference, I’m 5ft 8 and 81kg, wearing a Medium in the photos. Use this as a rough guide when choosing your size.
This is your chance to own a piece of the journey. A seconds polo top. Not perfect, but rescued from the waste pile with honesty.
£30. Limited numbers. No restocks. No frills. Just the truth.
