Production Underway, Bath & West Done — and Essex Next

A shorter one this week — but a good one.
The Barracks Range Is Taking Shape
This morning we visited the factory to drop off something we’ve been working towards for a while — our new all-British made labels. From here on, every Lockwood garment will carry a new back neck label, and the Barracks range of gilets will have their own labels sewn in too. It’s a small detail that means a great deal. Every component, every finish, every label — British. The cutting for the first batch of the Barracks range is already done and production is well underway. We can’t wait to get these in front of you.

Bath & West Show — Familiar Faces and New Ones

The Bath & West Show was a really good one for us. Hot genuinely very hot but brilliant for conversations.
We met plenty of people seeing Lockwood for the first time, and plenty more who have been following the brand for a while and wanted to come and say hello in person. Those moments never get old.

A few people worth mentioning. Reg, one of the directors of Dead Badger Clothing Company, great to meet him. A good chat with Jemima of Cotswold Fox, and a big congratulations to her on her engagement.
Marcus from Rogue Skies also came by. another fellow soldier who has set up his own company while still serving, and it’s always good to talk to someone who understands exactly what that journey looks like.
And Flora of FloraPercival, who is doing brilliant things making jumpers entirely in Britain exactly the kind of person we love to meet on the show circuit.

What’s Next
Early next week we’re heading to Essex for the Baddow Park Mastermind. The next blog will be written from there. Another week, another chapter.
