Constructed from 1000D PU-coated nylon with a 4oz PU-lined nylon lining, the Metropolitan is built to withstand serious use while remaining comfortable enough for everyday wear. Durable, weather-resistant, and designed for freedom of movement, it performs just as well on a wet city street as it does in the field.
Designed by a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Coldstream Guards and handmade in the heart of the West Midlands, the Metropolitan Smock reflects the Lockwood commitment to doing things properly with British materials, British craftsmanship, and no shortcuts.

Return & Refund Policy
We want you to love your Lockwood piece. If something isn't right, here's how we'll sort it.
Returns
If you'd like to return an item, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order with your order number and reason for return. Items must be unworn and in their original condition with tags attached. Return postage is the customer's responsibility.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If an item arrives back in a condition that doesn't meet the above, we reserve the right to decline the return or issue a partial refund.
Exchanges
Need a different size? Send the original item back first and we'll ship the replacement to you at no extra charge once it's received and approved, subject to availability.
Damaged or defective items
If your order arrives damaged or with a fault, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and packaging. We'll put it right.
Non-returnable items
We're unable to accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or personalised products.

I live in Wales and I was just out in the rain and when I mean rain, I mean storm and I didn’t even get wet. The hood is massive and I even had my phone in my hood in the rain talking to my brother and that didn’t even get wet. It’s a fantastic jacket. And it now drying

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, so good in fact that i bought 2!
I spend a lot of time outside standing around in all weather and as most people know,once youre wet you then get cold and morale hits the deck as well as running the chance of getting ill. These smocks eliminate this by keeping you fully dry underneath and also reducing exposure to the wind.
Highly practical with plenty of pocket space, comfortable and dry. On top of all this they are stylish and you can feel the quality so you know its built to last.
Honestly cannot recommend this brand enough.

The day finally arrived for the delivery of my Metropolitan smock all I can say is outstanding the quality and fit is first class. It looks and feels as it is built to last..it's the old saying you buy cheap you buy twice. This smock is certainly going to go the distance looking and inspecting them. Well done Jacob and Ruth.... I received my Churchill Jacket today and I’m chuffed to bits with it.
The quality of the material and design are outstanding.
I asked for sizing advice as I was unsure which size to order and had a reply back the next day offering advice which was spot on.
I’m 5ft 11, broad and 14st the XL fits perfectly even when I have a think sweater on.
This won’t be my last order from Lockwood.

Amazing jacket, has been great for keeping me dry on my long dog walks. Doesn't come with any insulation but lots of space underneath to layer up underneath to stay warm.
