The Lockwood Eight Panel Flat Cap
A flat cap with real presence.
I started with a traditional eight-panel baker boy, took it apart, and increased the size of each panel to give it more body, more shape, and more character. Then I added a top stitch along every join, allowing the cap to be folded and manoeuvred so it can sit how the wearer wants it to. The result is a cap that feels full of personality. Bold, distinctive, and far removed from the flat, lifeless shape of standard versions.
Handmade in the heart of the East Midlands using genuine Harris Tweed, and finished with a stitched peak and soft Union Jack cotton lining, this is British craft done properly. Designed to pair naturally with our Suffolk Lambswool Gilet or Boiled Wool Gilet, both finished with matching Harris Tweed collars, it completes a look built for sharp mornings, long days outdoors, and timeless British style.
This is not just another flat cap. It is a stronger take on a classic. Built with substance, shaped with intention, and made for those who want heritage with more character.
If you want, I can also do a slightly more luxury version or a more aggressive high-converting version for the website.
