This is the very first ladies’ cut gilet in the Lockwood range – a limited initial release that marks a bold step in premium British-made countrywear. Crafted from fully British-milled 100% merino wool, sourced from the historic Hainsworth mill in Yorkshire, this piece is designed exclusively for women who value timeless style, considered tailoring, and uncompromising quality.

Only four of each colour exist – making this an exceptionally rare release. Each gilet is individually handmade in England, with just one in each size across four refined colourways. Once they’re gone, they won’t return until autumn.

The gilet features elegant shaping through the waist for a flattering, feminine silhouette while retaining the signature durability and performance Lockwood is known for. Warm, breathable, and naturally moisture-wicking, merino wool offers unrivalled comfort across all seasons – from early-morning dog walks to chilly showgrounds.

Each gilet is proudly handmade in England using British-milled cloth, British trims… and, well, almost everything British. I’m still hunting down a UK zip supplier – it’s the last link in the chain – but for now, the rest is pure, uncompromising British craftsmanship.
